Business brands are perhaps the easiest to explain. They are the reason why consumers pay much more for nearly identical product just because of the name attached to the product. A brand instils a sense of trust in the message of the brand, whether its quality, exclusivity or even how cheap the product is. Companies spend enormous amounts of money on marketing campaigns in order to establish these brands. Many companies have however either overlooked the value and nature of online brands or been simply overwhelmed at the speed in which technology, public consciousness and consumer trends have changed.
