The IT department is based mainly at the Kent Data Centre. They are responsible for the hardware and software that make everything possible. We currently have IT professionals in 11 different fields on permanent as well as contractual basis. These fields include Web design and development, server maintenance, Database administration, Software Engineering, Programming etc.

Charlie Greensmith - IT Director

Charlie is our “tech Guy”. He is truly passionate about technology. He makes sure we are able to deliver on our promises. Through his and the IT team’s expertise we have been able to develop technologies and software that is truly unique to us.

Charlie has a degree in Computer Science and has worked for IBM and Cisco. He worked as a senior analyst for Nielsen. He Joined Value Optimisers in 2009 and has quickly shown his worth. He was responsible for our move into the Kent data centre and also for setting up the synchronisation systems between our two data centres. He is usually resident at the Kent data centre where his office it is however not uncommon to see him in Hatfield or New York.
